Aloft, of the W Hotels group, is located on Frederick Douglass Boulevard and is one of the newer hotels in the area. Hotels are located within the Upper West Side area, but in Harlem there are cozy bed and breakfasts to stay. Many of the bed and breakfasts are set in historic homes with modern decor or victorian-era designs. There are also local apartments for rent through rental services like AirBnb and international youth hostels with reasonable overnight rates.
